The Commissioning Administrator is accountable for correct vehicle set-up and testing following installation and completing the supporting administrative functions.
Primary focus is to take calls from engineers and emailed job forms; set-up the related vehicles on the system with advised settings; then fully check the vehicle to ensure it is working. Accurate data entry is absolutely key, both into the customers systems, throughout the checks, and in completing the administrative forms which accompany the set-up process. Any problem vehicles that are put on monitor, or require a follow-up, are to be followed through to conclusion completely.
Daily expectations are:
* Day to day commissioning for both internal and external installation teams
* Own escalated issues given to you by your managers, gaining assistance from peers where possible
* Ensure calls are completed to advised SLA's where they exist
* Refer to commissioning work packages, customer specific configurations and training materials, where available
* Follow checklists as outlined in the commission forms when completing vehicle commissions
* Maintain fleet lists during major roll-outs
* Manage time effectively and prioritise to meet deadlines
* Compile and update information, records or data (groups)
* Be customer focused and build relationships with internal and external contacts
* Escalate to Service Desk Tier 2 any problematic commissions in a timely manager
Other duties that can be requested include:
* Compilation of metrics/completed numbers for daily stand-ups and business reports in the above of the Commissioning Team Lead
* Assistance with day to day administrative functions including (but not exclusive to) answering phones, data analysis, spreadsheet updates and general coverage for other administrative teams
* On occasions, a request to back-fill other departments administrative tasks may be requested (where approved by line manager)

Essential Requirements:
* Basic standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Confident in communicating with others, by phone, emailr or by letter
* Good standard of written and oral communication
* Good standard of attendance and time keeping
* Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
* Team player
* Ability to work alone, with minimum supervision
* Strong will to succeed and responsibility for own outputs
* High level of attention to detail
* Analytical ability to problem solve faults when they arise
* Ability to keep calm under pressure
Desirable Requirements:
* Basic knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge of technical testing
