Thame Town Council is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to play a key role in managing the Town Council’s outward facing communication to include the maintenance of our website, social media, press releases and key community events.
This is an exciting and full time community engagement role that requires excellent communication, creative and analytical skills, a flexible approach to work with the ability to attend evening meetings. It would particularly suit a community minded individual with digital skills.
Community Project Support Officer - Main Responsibilities:
• To manage the website.
• Experience of using social media.
• Produce e-newsletters.
• Write press releases through the use of traditional and digital media.
• Promote community engagement.
• Management, delivery and operational requirement for community events.
Community Project Support Officer - Successful Applicant will have:
• Experience of website maintenance particularly with Content Management Systems.
• Experience of communicating with the media.
• Confident in the use of ICT applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to network and form effective working relationships with stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills.

Salary: £20,456 - £25,694 (per Annum) plus Local Government Pension Scheme - Permanent
