Description

Ok here is an honest sale, due to a job offer abroad, I am selling up and starting afresh. So I am selling my almost finished project to a lucky buyer.

We have a 1991 1.9TD VW T4 converted van.

I'll go through the things I've done then what was done before.

I have had:
-tinted windows put in on the sides and back.
-Carpeted the sides and floor.
-Built the bed out of oak.
-new alternator.
-new battery.
-insulated the vehicle with sound proofing, sheep wool, thermal insulation and ply.
-lights fitted in the rear on a 3 way switch so they can turn on with the doors, permanently on or off.
-new speakers wired in front and back.

Previous owners have:

-re-sprayed it from red to blue (not very well, but is acceptable).
-had the cam-belt changed in Dec 2015 (I have receipts for work done)
-underneath has been

-electric seats from a Saab fitted.

There are a small amount of things that need finishing.... i.e:
J
-carpeting
-fog lights need fitting
-Oil dipstick needs replacing (it has a temp one that that is accessed underneath the front).
-there are a couple more bits, I have a box of things that come with the van.

MOT runs out December.

This is an older version, however it runs beautifully and pulls well. It has minimal squeaks or rattles.

I managed to get 700miles out of one tank driving to work and back in it.
I tend to get around 500 on the motorways.

I usually cruised at 50-60 but It's happy to cruise around at 60-70. Anything beyond that and it starts to drink.
