Care Job Opportunity!
I am a lady in my mid 40’s with severe asthma and allergies. I also have mobility problems from both the asthma and steroid side effects for which I use crutches and a wheelchair / electric wheelchair.
I am trying to recruit a couple of PAs to help me in the mornings and the evenings every day to help me get up, wash and dress etc. In the evening I would like help with healthy meal preparation so being able to cook would be an advantage
You will also need to carry out some household tasks such as changing the bed weekly, putting washing on etc., and some extra cleaning.
It would be useful if you could drive. I also need help for swimming.
It is very important to me that you are friendly, have a sense of humour; flexible and punctual. I work part time so being flexible for morning calls is essential to enable me to get to work on time.
The ability to provide flexible help when my asthma is causing problems would be useful too!
I have a no smoking policy.
Salary: £8.50 per hour Hours Per Week: 16.5 Shared between two PAs
Pattern of working: 8.00am – 8.45am & 6.00pm – 7.00pm Monday - Sunday, with 4.25 extra hours (including 2 hours for swimming), but flexible to my needs. Location: Witham (NE)
