New restaurant and Bar in Shoreditch is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly General Manager.
The Ideal candidate will have a keen interested in food and drink, be very approachable and enjoy talking with customers.
This will be a 65 capacity seater restaurant & Bar with high standards in service, food and drink but with a relaxed atmosphere.
Knowledge of Craft Beer, Wine and cocktials would be a bonus.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Oversight, deliveries and implementation of operating model and policies.
- Recruiting, training and motivating your staff
- Doing regular stocktakes, ordering and handling deliveries as necessary
- Maintaining the condition of beer, wine & spirits
- Liaising with and managing the operational team (restaurant, bar, kitchen ).
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking
overall legal responsibility for the premises
- Enforcing health & safety rules
- Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cashflow
