iPad Air 2 boxes do not say the '2' on them, but it is easy to tell the difference between an Air and an Air 2. The Air 2 has the fingerprint sensor whereas the Air does not, and the Air 2 has a microphone hole above the volume rocker switches on the side (photo shown) whereas the original Air has a flick switch there instead. -it is also known as model A1566 as shown in the photo above

Apple have stopped selling the 128GB Air 2, but the 64GB is £429. A 128GB iPad Pro is £619.
