NEWCRAFT 'Home Office'
Please note that any apparent shading is due to the effects of sunlight when I took the photos.
Solidly-built, fold-away home office cabinet, made by Newcraft Ltd of London, probably in the early 1960's.
This quirky piece of vintage furniture opens up to reveal a pull-out desk with large drawer underneath, and a variety of storage compartments and shelves for papers and assorted office items.
It still retains the original hanging files (lower right hand side)
The cabinet is finished a mid-brown colour wood veneer, thought to be teak.
The desk surface is covered in red 'leatherette', which is in good condition.
