Honda Civic automatic
Description
For sale is my much loved Honda Civic (MB6).
I am a member of the Civic5 owners club and various Honda owners clubs and I purchased this car a few months ago and have been restoring it while using it as a daily driver.
It still needs some work to be mint condition but it is by far the best example of this car most people are likely to see outside of a show environment.
Mechanically it is immaculate, the engine bay is spotless aswell.
Work carried out in the past 2000 miles includes :
The driveshaft has been replaced.
Exhaust heat shield repaired.
Front brake pads and disks replaced.
Rear brake pads replaced.
Cv joint replaced.
CD player fitted.
Mot was done in May 2016 at 97336 miles and has no advisories.
Interior is missing a few tiny bits such as a screw cover for one of the ceiling handles and the rear ashtray, I just haven't sourced them yet.
Other than that the interior is immaculate. Full black leather no sagging bolsters or cigarette burns or tears or anything.
Comes with CD player and the aircon is ice cold.
Exterior is in very good condition for its age but does have a couple of rust spots around the rear arches, a few scrapes and scuffs on the paint and a broken drivers side mirror casing a broken fog light cover (but the light works fine) and the alloys are a bit tatty.
The only other issue is the drivers side electric window. It goes up and down as it should, however it's slightly misaligned so unless you push it a little on the way back up, it leaves a gap.
None of this affects the performance or overall look and use of the car and I would've got to addressing the exterior eventually but I've been doing the mechanics and interior first.
I am only selling this car because there's a new baby on the way and with two kids allready, I need to get a MPV or small minivan.
I really do not want to see this car go and baby number 3 isn't due anytime soon so I won't be accepting silly offers.
This is an 18 year old car so £900 may seem like a lot of money but take a look at what else is out there for £900 and then take a look at this and you will understand why it's up at that price.
AA / RAC inspections are welcome at your own expense. Viewings and test drives are also welcome but if you damage the car on a test drive then you've just bought the car. Also, if you don't have insurance to cover yourself in the car then I'm happy to take you on a drive, but you won't be driving because if you are pulled by the police then it's me as the owner who is in trouble.
Drop me a line with any questions.
