Kensington Community Care are a leading domiciliary care organisation providing care and support services for vulnerable adults in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Job Role
Due to a large workload, we are looking to recruit new home care assistant to care for people who live in their own home,. The role will include the following tasks:
Personal Care i.e. toileting, bathing, washing etc.
Meal Preparation
Prompting Medication
General Housekeeping
Record Keeping
Person Specification
Unlike most domiciliary care organisations we offer a very personalized approach to recruiting new staff. Pay Rates:
Our pay rates start from £8.00 per hour on weekdays up to £9.70 per hour on weekends. We also offer weekly bonus payments for full time staff and a mileage payment of 20p per mile.
Previous Experience and Training
If you do not have previous experience in care, then you are still able to apply for this position as we provide an extensive training program for all successful applicants. In addition to this, you will go through a period of shadowing with an experienced carer who will ensure that you can safely deliver the care required.We also provide vocational training allowing you to gain qualifications in care whilst you work.
