Gardener required for walled garden in Ratho
Description
We have a lovely walled garden next to the Union Canal in Ratho, produce of which goes for our own use and for the kitchen at the nearby Bridge Inn. Due to a staff retirement we have an immediate need for someone to carry out some tidying up, picking, weeding and pruning. Outwith the walled garden we have number of beds and borders all of which will need pruning and clearing up before the end of autumn.
You will have a working knowledge of growing vegetables and some knowledge of plantsmanship. And above all be a friendly, trustworthy and cheery person.
Hours can be varied to suit, and will change with the weather and the seasons.
If you are self-starting, hap to work on your own, and take pride in growing produce and maintaining a tidy garden, this could be for you.
